Tell Me a Story - June

Santorini, Greece

 “To make the right choices in life, you have to get in touch with your soul. To do this, you need to experience solitude, which most people are afraid of, because in the silence you hear the truth and know the solutions” ~ Deepak Chopra.

 This quote kind of fits my life so far this year with lots of ups and downs, interesting experiences and bucket list checks. One of the items on my bucket list was to go to Santorini, Greece. While living in Germany I wasn't able to go. However, our last port call for this deployment was Crete, which just so happens is less than a two hour ferry ride to Santorini. Needless to say I jumped at the chance to go. 

The Mill we rented for the night. It was super cute, quiet with a nice view.

At Sea

A European Bee Eater that paid a visit to the ship for a few days. As I got closer to take the photo he moved away two steps, but I managed to get about two feet from him in this photo.
