Spent Thanksgiving evening enjoying the holiday light display at the Botanical Gardens. I was hoping the lights would turn out better, but it was far too cold and windy out to stand around in order to set up a nicer composition.

I can't believe how quickly this year has gone. Head over to Sharleen's page more photos.

Tell Me a Story October 2018

Maine/New Hampshire October 2018
On my trip to New Hampshire to visit my daughter in early October
I was really hoping to see the infamous Fall foliage, but I missed it
by a few weeks (maybe next year). Nonetheless I'm always grateful
for the time I can spend with my family.

Keeping with my love of exploring we took a day trip to
Kennebunkport, ME one cloudy afternoon. We enjoyed lunch at
Hurricane and dessert at Ben & Jerry's.

Nubble Lighthouse
Like a guardian Angel, the Lighthouse stands, sending out hope in the night.
Like a faithful friend reaching out a hand bringing comfort, truth and light.
Bird wasn't afraid of a two year old.

Afternoon at the park

All about the sassiness

Grammy crouched down to get a picture so I must crouch down too. :)

The Hampton Roads area is prime target for hurricanes. With the treat of Florence looming I was part of the 'mandatory evacuees'. I am blessed to have friends in West Virginia that could accommodate me and my fur baby. What else is there to do in rural West Virginia as an evacuee? Be the tourist of course. However, in the rush to evacuate I thought I forgot the battery charger for my Canon, so all the tourist pictures were taken with my IPhone. It wasn't until after I got home did I realize I actually had the battery charger the entire time. Things that make you go ugh.
